Compelling
mixed media abstract composition utilizing polymer dipped fabrics
treated with concentrated water colors. Grid of strung gold wire over
nails adds a nice relief dimension. A piece very similar to this one
is published in the 1972 book "Creating Art from Fibers and Fabrics"
by Dona Z. Meilach as pictured. Dona was a very accomplished artist
in her own right, author of many art books, and avid art collector.
This Ronald Rolfe piece came directly from her estate. Circa 1971.
