- Artist/Designer:
John Ihle – Bay Area printmaker and Educator. Studied at Illinois
Wesleyan University, University of Iowa and Bradley University. Joined
the faculty at S.F.S.U. in 1955 and is an important figure in California
printmaking and a member of the California Society of Printmakers.
His work is included in the collections of the Chicago Art Institute,
National Gallery of Art and the Achenbach Foundation for the Graphic
Arts.

Intaglio Etching signed, titled and numbered (1/20) in pencil by the
artist. This print is 1960s old stock/inventory from Orr’s Gallery
in San Diego; it has never been framed and has been in storage for
approximately 30 years.
