and Yokohama, Japan) held at the Fine Arts Gallery of San Diego in
late 1963. The enamelists and ceramic artists selected to represent
San Diego include Jean Balmer, Amy Donaldson, James Gibbs, Jack Hopkins,
Lawrence Hunter, Beatrice Levy, Martha Longenecker, Rhoda Lopez, Marg
Loring, Malcolm McClain, Betty Newkirk, Frank Papworth, Margaret Price,
Barney Reid, David Stewart, Joan Thorburn, Kay Whitcomb, Ellamarie
and Jackson Woolley. Great portraits of each artist are included in
