  • Artist/Designer: Ralph Costantino — Known primarily for his painting, Costantino was an itinerant La Jolla resident during the late 1950’s and 1960’s. He was a member of the Art Center, La Jolla and exhibited work there at the time.
  • Description: A sculpture made from welded steel rods which were filled in and puddled with bronze. Great texture and patina on this classic late-60’s treatment of a fish with a flower for its eye! This piece and others were left behind when the artist moved out of his studio in the Bird Rock neighborhood, where it was created. A horizontal bar was welded to the back for mounting.
