Marshall – Known for her printmaking, which she exhibited regularly
with the San Diego Art Guild, Ms. Marshall was also a painter, potter
and enamelist. She was employed at the Fine Arts Gallery in Balboa
Park for many years during the 50’s and 60’s.
- Description:
From the estate of this La Jolla artist. Enamel on copper mounted
on a wood backing that is painted black. The stencil technique used
on this piece shows a strong relationship to her printmaking. Her
original paper label remains on the back.
