Berta Wright—One of the primary movers and shakers of the Arizona
arts scene, the late Mrs. Wright operated the finest Crafts gallery
in Tucson for decades. She also produced a very sucessful line of
screen printed fabrics, did interior design consultation, and served
as a catalyst for area artists, which included founding the Arizona
Designer-Craftsmen.
- Description:
Stylized Cat print on burlap, ca. 1960s. This piece comes from the
collection of Berta and Adolph Wright, and her initials are printed
in the design. Dowel is included.
