Designer/Maker: Victoria Littlejohn – A prolific West Coast
potter, she studied at USC with Susan Peterson and F. Carlton Ball,
where she earned her teaching credential, Bachelors, and Masters degrees.
She also studied independently with Peter Voulkos, and with Marguerite
Wildenhain at Pond Farm Pottery in 1962. Littlejohn’s work was
exhibited at the Everson Ceramic Nationals.
Description:
Mammoth vase, glazed only at the neck. The rest of the body
is carved and pigmented. Superb! – inscribed signature.
Dimensions:
10” diam, 17½” h
Condition:
No chips or cracks, with two marks (kiln accidents) that are original
to the vase
