Designer/Maker:
Wayne Chapman – An important San Diego potter, he became a member
of the Allied Craftsmen in the mid-60’s and exhibited with them
for many years. During the 70’s & 80’s Wayne taught
at Palomar Junior College.
Description:
Stoneware bowl with vibrant slip-trailed decoration on a
matte ochre glaze. This is a nice example of Wayne’s work from
before the house fire, which bears his impressed stamp.
